Using our traditional Inji Puli (Ginger tamarind chutney) recipe, replacing the traditional Tamarind with Rhubarb that we can grow ourselves, for its accessible sourness, we have come out with a softer localized version. Pairs beautifully with cheeses, sweet potatoes, meats, vegetables and lentils, this smooth, sour, spicy and a bit sweet chutney actually makes our customers cry, because they love it so much.

Ing: Local NY Rhubarb, Ginger, Jaggery (minimally processed Indian Sugar), Ginger, Mustard Seed, *Asafoetida, Fenugreek, Salt.

*this product contains traces of wheat.

Asafoetida, also known as Hing, is a resin from a tree, acting as a natural preservative. It is blended with a small percentage of Wheat, while we use this minimally in our product, it makes it not Gluten Free. We are in the works to change this in the future. 

Our products are naturally preserved and use only whole foods - we mill all our spices from the whole spice and we choose fresh foods over dried, frozen or already processed ones.

Important: Please use only a clean dry spoon as to not allow for contamination,

Before opening the shelf life is at least 2 years, after opening put in fridge and it should last a year or more if you take care of and use that dry clean spoon!
