Thiyal is a slow roasted coconut paste that you can cook your favorite meats and vegetables with. With the consistency of a Mexican Mole, Thiyal is added to boiling water and made into a rich sauce, for your food to simmer in. Popular in Kerala, South India, every family and member of that family makes their own version! I'm sure you will find no better here than our Atina Foods version! Vegan and Gluten Free, No Sugar, No Salt.

Our products are naturally preserved and use only whole foods - we mill all our spices from the whole spice and we choose fresh foods over dried, frozen or already processed ones.
Important: Please use only a clean dry spoon as to not allow for contamination,
Before opening the shelf life is 2 years, after opening put in fridge and it should last 6 months or more if you take care of and use that dry clean spoon!
To Use: Boil 2 parts water, add in 1 Part Thiyal, simmer into a paste, add meat or veg, onions or tofu, let simmer for a while until cooked.
