Not just because we still smell of garlic from the garlic festival, or perhaps we just are not ready to leave this magic clove.

Air or Wind is the fourth element according to Ayurvedic constitute in the manifested world, along with Earth, Fire, Water and the fifth, Akaasha (Sound Space). Our past luncheons have thus far been dedicated to Earth, Fire and Water.

Wind and Air in Ayurvedic food represents the gaseous movements within the physical body especially as they form in the digestive tract from intake to expulsion.

A Good Food is considered something easily passed through this tract without giving any trouble to the body along route. Food is something which stimulates the body to produce whatever necessary to live healthy and happy. When food is digested inside the body, plenty of air is produced, which as we humans know, can  get trapped in the digestive tract causing pain which manifest in many forms in today's life.

Ayurveda suggests using Garlic as a Spice to help the body for a better digestion.

Sunday Luncheon Menu will be based on Garlic.
