Dip in for Autumn Dumpling Making

Spend an afternoon making dumplings together and tasting wild foods of the Catskills with forager and chef, Renee Baumann and Lexington Klubhouse hosted by Atina Foods in our lovely outdoor kitchen. In this family-friendly hands-on demonstration, you will learn to make and wrap dumplings in two different styles, cook them over a wood-fired stove and sample our different creations.

We will be making a traditional vegetarian Kerala TORAN (Veg Dry Fry with coconut).

Toran can be made with a variety of Vegetables, today we will use our go to / Cabbage. Alternate Vegetables to use: String beans, Green Papaya, Carrot, Beet root, Cauliflower, more! Frozen Veg (try less watery ones).

All local family style South Indian feast and our 5 years in Catskill celebration!
This year we plan to focus on six different tastes of Ayurveda such as Sweet, Bitter, Hot, Savory, Salt and Astringent.

First will be Sweet, not like sugar sweet.
