ATINA FOODS makes delicious and healthy traditionally prepared vegetarian food with minimal oil and salt. We host family style South Indian meals using local organic vegetables, whole spices and natural fermentation methods. Food is tasty, well balanced and not too spicy, with an adjoining pickle table to accent flavors!

The meal begins with a shared non caffeinated tea from their garden, followed by our Sambar Soup and Fritter starters. Sambar is a traditional South Indian yellow split pea, root vegetable, tamarind and spiced soup) Fritter will be a seasonal vegetable dipped in chickpea flour and fried.
The Main Course will have 4 dishes (subject to market availability); a Root Vegetable 9 Spice Curry, Kale Saag or Coconut Dry Fry, Black Eyed Peas and Squash and Kohlrabi Yogurt Curry (not vegan/only one!), all with Cumin Rice and Puttu, a Kerala specialty made with rice flour and fresh coconut and seasonal pickle bar.
